Monthly Fundraiser

Jaquith Library, Marshfield

The Jaquith Public Library is a center for the community, making information, ideas, and cultural experiences free and available to all.

We believe it takes a village to run a library. Part of our work includes raising funds for various projects. We invited Just Food Hub to attend our summer music program and we found the addition of coffee and tea plus the sales of ethical food was a great addition to the events. After each event, Just Food Hub presented us with funds, 30% of all sales, which is a useful addition to our fundraising endeavors.

We are excited to be working with Just Food Hub, promoting organic, small cooperatively farmed authentically fair traded food. The plan is to encourage our library users and community members to buy regularly from Just Food Hub’s online shop. They deliver your order to the library for your pick up. 30% of the monies made from sales go straight to the library to continue our work in the community. We believe this an excellent win–win for everyone, we hope you do too.

Just Food Hub

We are a voluntary group raising the awareness of the quality real organic and fair-traded food from Equal Exchange in our Vermont communities.  We also source similarly high-quality and affordable artisan food from local producers like salami and cheese. Just Food Hub collaborates with Equal Exchange, a worker coop that develops a noncapitalist people-centered food system that brings food justice and integrity to the US family table. Equal Exchange endorses organic and sustainable farming practices and democratic and worker-owned farming cooperatives throughout the Global South, Palestine, and the United States.

Just Food Hub’s mission is to offer community groups, like the Jaquith Library, a regular fundraiser for their valuable work in the community. You shop online for these wonderful foods and we give the profits to the library.  We deliver your purchases to the Jaquith Library for you to pick up. You can visit us online again and again and we can provide you with all the coffee, tea, chocolate, nuts, Palestinian products, and more you and your family need.

In addition to helping you eat well and building strong local economies and community groups, we are working to address the climate crisis and food insecurity. Join us and be the change you want to see in the world.
