Marginalized Organic Producers’ Association (MOPA)
We are proud to support the Marginalized Organic Producers’ Association (MOPA), a network of over 800 small-scale farmers, about half of whom are women, in the Uva and Central regions of Sri Lanka. These farmers grow tea and spices and are committed to organic and biodynamic agriculture. MOPA helps small farmers stay on their land, provide livelihoods for their families, and maintain healthy and vibrant communities. Folks can learn more about MOPA here: https://www.mopalk.org/ and here: https://www.info.equalexchange.coop/partners/marginalized-organic-producers-assoc-mopa
