Nuts and Dried Fruit

Nuts are a great source of protein and organically grown nuts reinforce their nutritional value while providing local flora and fauna with good habitat and sources of nesting and foraging material.

An amazing story from Georgia: an old plantation populated by enslaved people during the 18th century has now been bought up by an African American cooperative of farmers who work the land and produce pecans, providing a wonderful illustration of how things have changed for the better. We support and work toward these types of changes.

Free from added sugar and preservatives, these mangos from Burkina Faso are the perfect mix of chewy, tart and tangy. We’re inspired by Gebana, our primary partner for these mangoes. Gebana is one of the largest alternative traders in the world, consistently taking risks to support small farmers and help them gain control in the market. In Burkina Faso, the farmers who grow the mangoes are organized into coops and the factory, owned by Gebana, employs hundreds of local workers. These endeavors help the farming communities build a better economic future.
