Rainbow Bridge Community Center

Rainbow Bridge Community Center (RBCC) offers in-house pro-Bono therapeutic counseling, one-on-one or group sessions, to teens and adults, offering help and guidance for them to become comfortable with their sexuality while enabling them to walk, work, and socialize in their communities with confidence and pride. We also work with medical professionals who offer in-house pro-Bono counseling, monthly, to our RBCC community in the “proper care to take” when relating to others in more intimate aspects of their lives (STD & PREP counsel). 

We help train resume guidance, job search encouragement and for general use of studies or research. (currently, 3–4 laptops will be available for use in the computer room). Along with all these exciting new additions, we will strive to offer a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to freely come and relax, volunteer, work, study, play games, attend events while being and celebrating who they/we are inside and out; All while socializing with like others!

The RBCC vision is to bridge the gap between all communities through community fundraising, donations, social gatherings, luncheons, educational speakers, local artists and performers, and fun and creative activities. We use our facility and outside venues to engage in these exciting upcoming events and programs.

We are raising awareness in our local communities about real organic and fair-traded food, worker coops, and corporate consolidation in the food system. Our products include high-quality and affordable artisan food like coffee, chocolate, tea, cheese, and hot sauce from cooperative farms in the Global South and small US organic farms.

Just Food Hub’s mission is to offer community groups, like Rainbow Bridge Community Center, a regular fundraiser for their valuable work in our communities. We do this by selling these wonderful foods online and giving the profits to the community group. Rainbow Bridge Community Center receives 25% of all purchases when you click Rainbow Bridge at checkout. We offer free delivery of your purchases in 18 towns including Barre, East Montpelier, Marshfield, Montpelier, and Plainfield and can ship them elsewhere for a $10 charge.

Just Food Hub collaborates with Equal Exchange, a worker coop that develops a noncapitalist people-centered food system that brings food justice and integrity to the US family table. Equal Exchange endorses organic and sustainable farming practices and democratic and worker-owned farming cooperatives throughout the Global South, Palestine, and the United States.
